George W Bush pets, Barney and Miss Beazley were true ambassadors often appearing on Christmas cards, going to the Easter Egg Roll and more. Along with cat, India, the pets had a place on the WH website with a kids’ link to their photo album and webcams. When folks couldn’t visit the WH at Christmas a tiny video camera was attached to Barney’s collar, taping a tour of the decorations. Due to his popularity, Barney became an annual holiday feature for the administration. Miss Beazley, Scottish Terrier puppy joined the Bushes in 2005. Laura Bush said, ” Our pets have been such a source of comfort and entertainment to us. We’ve laughed over the antics of our animals and we’ve been warmed by their unconditional love.” Do you have a Scottish Terrier?
