Winter White House Egg Ornament. Hand painted amd decorated by skilled artisans in Poland. Design is taken from the 1968 Christmas card created for Lady Bird Johnson by Robert Laessig. A designer for American Greetings, Laessig painted six different designs for the First Lady that were used for their Official White House Christmas cards and staff gifts. For their last year, Laessig created a spring scene and a winter scene of the White House. Mrs. Johnson chose to use both designs for Christmas. Gift Boxed.
