Great Collectible! The First Lenox China Easter Egg Treasure box Limited Edition was offered April 22, 1984. The box is handcrafted of fine ivory china and banded by hand with pure 24 Karat Gold. Entitled "Easter on the White House Lawn", this lovely china egg was inspired by the traditional egg rolling contest on the South Lawn. It portrays happy children gathering Easter eggs among brightly colored flowoers. The annual Easter Monday Egg Rolling Party on the South Lawn has been a White House tradition since the Presidency of Rutherford B. Hayes. Box is 3 inches x 2 1/4 inches. Border of pink tulips and yellow daffodils on top and bottom of treasure box. Gift Box not included.
