George and Barbara Bush brought Millie, a brown and white springer spaniel, to the White House. Millie became a household name and simply was the most famous dog in the WH, Mrs. Bush wrote a book, "Millie’s Book: As dictated to Barbara Bush" 400,000 copies were printed.. Ranger was 1 of Millie’s six First Puppies (Spot was given to GWB. President Bush said, "Ranger and Millie brought great joy to my life.
