2019 Official White House Easter Egg BLUE

The 2019 Official Trump White House Easter Blue Egg features the image of the South Portico of the White House, the year with printed signatures of Donald J. Trump and Melania Trump. The blue egg was inspired by The Blue Room in The White House. The official eggs have become a White House collectible. The souvenir eggs are crafted from FSC-certified U.S. hardwood and arrive in a yellow gift box. Made in the USA by Wells Wood Turning and Finishing.

On Easter Monday, April 22, 2019, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump hosted the annual Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn of the White House. Over 30,000 people attended.

The White House Easter Egg Roll is an annual tradition dating back to 1878 under the Administration of President Rutherford B. Hayes who hosted the first annual White House Easter Egg Roll exactly 141 years ago on White House grounds for children who wanted to roll Easter eggs. In 1885, indoor egg roll receptions became customary under President Grover Cleveland. President Benjamin Harrison ordered the Marine Band to play lively music while the children played on the South Lawn.

Over the years, each administration has added a personal touch. Mrs. Trump's "Be Best" Campaign was a part of the 2019 egg roll.
