Archie, Kermit and Quentin Roosevelt bears. Sons of Theodore Rooselvelt, who thought it wrong to cut a tree down for Christmas. The young boys cut a small tree down, decorated it and hid it in the closet of the room where the family opened gifts on Christmas Morning. The President admird their ingenuity, but did not approve until the forest ranger pointed out that sometimes it is good for the forest to thin out the trees.
