2005 Offical White House Historical Association Ornament. Honors James A Garfield. Preacher, educator, soldier and politician. 20th President. Decorative wreath design is derived from art objects found at the Garfield home in Mentor, Ohio. Including china, needlework and historic frames. JAG Monogram. Gift Box is decorated with Victorian wallpaper found in the home. Proceeds from the sale of White House Association ornaments are used to fund the acquisition of historical furnishings and artwork for the permanent White House collection. Also to assist in the preservation of the public rooms in the President’s House. Collect them all since 1981.
