2019 White House Historical Association Eisenhower Christmas Ornament

2019 Official White House Historical Association Ornament honors the Dwight D. Eisenhower Administration 1953-1961. The Eisenhower's loved Christmas. Mamie showcased 52 Christmas trees. Together they were credited with initiating the tradition of sending the first Official Christmas cards. President Eisenhower's personal art was reproduced and used as Christmas gifts to his staff. As the Allied Commander during WW II, he was introduced to the Helicopter and was the first President to use it as a means of transportation during his administration. In 2019 the helicopter becomes free standing or hangs nicely on the tree.
