2002 Official White House Historical Ornament. reflects elements of the 1902 restoration by Architects McKim, Mead & White during the Theo Roosevelt administration. Acyrillic Crystal-like center assimilates the Bohemian glass of the chandeliers in the East Room during that period. The brass-like frame includes ribbon and acanthus leaves from the Louis XVI style wall panels. The eagle at the top was inspired by the carved mahogany pedestals of the console tables. The Ornament is made in America. Individually gift boxed. Proceeds from the sale of White House Historical Association ornaments are used to fund the acquisition of historical furnishings and artwork for the permanent White House collection and to assist in the preservation of the public rooms in the President’s House.
